Meditation? Achieved.

It was raining.
I just finished my first rope flow session and was sodden and shuffling to my car.

Then the concrete barriers said:
“Yo, Dizzy. You up?” ⛔️

I tried to say no.
I tried to say “Tomorrow.”

My flow rope said “Nah, brah” ⏳

Five seconds later, I was dancing on wet concrete like it was a stage and I was late for curtain call.

Broadway? In this economy? Yeah, sure, you betcha.

Then I interviewed them, got some rope, and BAM — mind blown. 🧠💣💥

I was gonna jump rope.
Zuzu was gonna bail—like usual.

When she sees me turn on the lights or the candles, it’s like she hears distant shelling and goes full war bunker mode and runs upstairs to hide under the bed.

But not tonight.

Tonight, I squeaked the squeaky.

I danced the dance.

And my punk rock pup pounced.

No rope. Just joy.

Just movement.

Just two doofuses (is that doofi?) dancing in the living room to one of my all-time favorite bands, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
